Comedy Gives Back Laugh Aid: Five Years Ago

Comedy Gives Back Laugh Aid aired 5 years ago today, 4/4 at 4pm. 2.5 million people watched! Hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised.

This live-streamed event was a fundraiser for the Comedy Gives Back Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund for stand-up comedians in need. Laugh Aid aired less than a month after the Covid-19 lock downs; Comedy Gives Back acted quickly, understanding that comedy clubs being shut down meant many comedians would go without a source of income.

Over 90 comedians generously participated, including Whitney Cummings, Jimmy Fallon, Ron Funches, Bert Kreischer, Jo Koy, Patton Oswalt, Tom Papa, Iliza Shlesinger, Bill Burr, Howie Mandel, Roy Wood Jr. David Spade and many more. It was a magical night.
